Rick was excellent to work with. He was very responsive and helped ensure our house was ready to put on market. He was instrumental in navigating the multiple offers we received in the first 24 hours it was on the market and ensured we had all the right information to make the right decision for us. From the day we contacted him concerning selling our house to the day we closed he was always available and helpful. He helped us price the house, advised us on what to expect with walk-throughs, and deftly guided the final negotiations. He used technology tools that kept us informed about who was coming to the house and for what purposes, and he made our online listing shine. Rick has been our family’s real estate agent since 2003. He has been instrumental in the selling and buying of several homes over the years. All of which worked out for each different situation. After moving from state to state over the last 10 years we moved back to the Columbus area recently. Rick was an obvious choice again when we made the decision. Rick was our 3rd realtor in a really bad housing market about 3 to 4 years ago. After the second realtor didn’t sell our home I began to really interview prospective realtors. I thought I had interviewed prior but this time had to be the charm. Recommendations from friends was only the beginning to the process. Rick impressed me with our first conversation because he was able to explain why our house had not sold and what he would do differently. My experience with Rick began in 2006 when I listed my home for sale after moving to Texas. The housing market in Ohio was slow and I was not able to sell. There was a couple who wanted to buy the house but had trouble securing a loan. They moved in with the intentions of buying. Years went by and they could not secure a loan but Rick continued to advise me and renewed rental agreements with the potential buyer. In May of this year, Rick advised me to put the house back on the market if the buyers could not commit to purchasing the home. During the months between May and October many issues arose with the house. I had to repair the stucco, paint the house inside and out, improve the landscaping, get a new sump pump, etc. etc.. Rick facilitated all the repairs for the home (remember, I live in Texas). He purchased items for me and sent me the bill later. I could go on and on. I know of no other realtor who would have spent 7 years selling a home. I have had a serious load lifted off my shoulders with the sale f the house thanks to Rick. Thanks Rick! friendly tidbits.
